Our harvest of tomatoes, that is:
I’m so excited about it. Fresh tomatoes to eat that were just picked moments ago, yum. We’ve actually picked a few orange-colored cherry tomatoes off one of our bushes already, but this is definitely the first time this season that a large tomato or two have become ripe enough to pick.
One of my favorite ways to eat home grown tomatoes is to toast some bread, put on a little (vegan) mayonnaise, place the sliced tomatoes on it and top it off with a sprinkle of seasoned salt, garlic salt in this case.
A perfect part of lunch, I’d say.
